April Socks!

The only pair I managed to finish this month. A pair of camouflage socks for Youngest. I made them a little bit big and am saving them for next fall :)

Awesome April

I love everything about these socks!  The pattern was fun to knit, I love the way they look, the yarn was a dream to knit with and so soft and squishy :-)

The pattern is Ernie from the February 2013 Cookie A Sock Club, the yarn is Indigodragonfly MCN sock in the club color E Pluribus Nom Nom Nom, and I used my new Knitters Pride Carbon needle which is now my new favorite needle.  I'm saving these babies for myself!

April Socks

I actually finished a pair of socks early!

These are Newton Socks, done for the Cookie A 2013 Sock Club.  They are made from indigodragonfly MCN sock yarn in E Pluribus Nom Nom Nom colorway.

I used US 1 (2.0mm) needles.  I did something different on this pair of socks.  I made the heel flap longer than I usually do, thus making the gusset longer.  I thought that might help my fit for my high instep, and it worked.  They fit very well.
