Look she's knitting socks again!

It's madness time, so I've actually finished two pair of socks in march!

First I finished my Sockdolager for round 1, then I finished my Flying Dutchmen for round 2. Now I'm waiting for round 3, so there'll probably be atleast a pair of socks knit in april as well :)

March Socks

My March socks are done. They are Katniss by Rose Hiver.
I knit them in Franklin Sock Yarn from Webs on size 1 (2.25mm) circular needles.
it took me almost two months because I discovered quilting this year. After four quilts in three months I may be able to slow down and get back to my socks!

I hope more people sign up for this site. I have made many socks since joining and always like to see what others are knitting!

2 pairs for March!

I finished 2 pairs this month,  Plain Vanilla Car Socks in Kroy Socks Stripes & Boysenberry Yo in Shepherd Sock Solid colorway Carrot (love these!)

March Socks

I finished 2 paris of socks this month!

 These are Roadside Attraction, in Socks That Rocks medium weight, colorway is Portland Plaid.  This was the January Rockin Sock Club shipment.

These are Hamantaschen knit in Hazel Knits Artisan Sock, colorway Sandlewood.  The pattern is from Cookie A's sock club from October 2012 and the yarn was from Hazel Knits October club.  This is a crappy picture, but if you click on it you can see it better.

March Socks!

Two pairs this month!  These are my Insomnia #1 socks.  I knit these using self-striping yarn when I can't sleep.  As you can see from the #1 this will become a series.

And these are my Is it Spring Yet? socks.  I am looking forward to spring flowers!

Almost forgot my February socks, they are Mock My Socks Off started on December 30, finished February 13.  Knit on 2.5mm needles, the yarn is Aslan Trends Santa Fe in Alaska blues.  Ravelry details here.

February socks

Yippee , I finally have a finished pair of socks ! There were too many other wips and these seemed to be left to linger in the knitting basket for the last couple of months . The pattern is the River Rapids by Sockbug . The yarn is Regia 4 ply Jubilee colour . I was surprised by how this colourway knit up , it turned out to be more tonal than striped .

I managed three pairs of socks this month.  A pair of stripey anklets and two pairs of plain socks for Hubby.

 

The weather is still cold and now we're getting the snow we've been lacking all winter...perfect time for new wool socks!

February Socks!

Ice Storm were supposed to be my January socks, but I didn't quite finish them in time.  I did finish the Smitten socks though!  Details can be found on my blog, Knitting Only Socks.

I want to finish up some scarves and a cowl I'm working on and then on to socks for March!

January Socks (A long time coming...)

I took the opportunity this month to finish the second of a pair of socks I started on October 2nd.  The first sock was finished around October 15th, and then sat in my WIP drawer until January 25th, when I realized I had no socks for January.  Voila!  I love this pattern, the Dragonfly socks...NO purls in the pattern, and it's easy to memorize.

The yarn is Handmaiden Casbah in the "Paris" colorway, and it is delicious stuff!  Knitted on HH sz 1.  Love 'em!  And I love seeing everyone else's socks...happy knitting!

January Sunshine Socks

Finished my The Art of Fugue by Caoua Coffee in Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock colorway Lemon Ice.  Learned to cable without a needle while knitting these on 5 size 2 dpns.  Love this pattern!

January Socks



One pair of socks for January, plain old vanilla socks knit on 2.5mm needles, 68sts, heel over 34sts, toe to 24sts.  The yarn is Austermann Step.  Started January 11, finished the 25th.  Details here.
