The yarn is Schoppel-Wolle Wunderkleckse and to be honest ... it looked much better in the ball.
The pattern is just a plain ol' stockinette sock with a slip-stitch heel. I tried patterns. Lord knows, I TRIED. No pattern would play nice with this yarn.
So, stockinette it is. The best I can say about these socks? They're finished and they count. ;-)

That is the way it works, sometimes. I have also had some socks that just didn't look good. So I picked up my needles right away and knit some that really looked good. I am sure you will knit a pair of beautiful socks next time.
