Spock Socks, a Cookie A pattern |
July Socks are done!
This is the Spock Sock Pattern from the Cookie A Sock Club. I made it with Sokkusa O yarn on two 2.25mm circular needles. The colorway is Spock!

Instead of making a standard heel, I continued the rib pattern, doing knits instead of ktbl.
I should know by now that Cookie A patterns look better in solid or semi-solid colors. The self-striping yarn doesn’t look that great, but who could resist Spock Socks made with Spock Yarn!

Two for June
I finished 2 pairs of socks in June!
This first pair is Tulip Socks by Cookie A, knit in Hazel Knits Artisan sock, color Pink Ribbon.
The other pair is Petrosinella by Adrianne Fong. The yarn is Socks That Rock lightweight in the color Hope Springs Eternal.
Both of these were sock club kits. I'm trying to keep up with the 2 clubs I joined this year. So far, so good :-) Additional details can be found on my blog or my Ravelry project pages.

June Socks
Seven pairs of socks for this month, but six pairs are just kid socks. The first pair were Thuja knit on 4.5mm needles with Briggs & Little Tuffy red mix and oatmeal, started June 7, finished the 12th.
The remainder of the socks are just vanilla socks for charity (the striped pair is 4x2 rib). For the details on these socks click here.
Happy knitting!
