January's sock-a-month: Socks On Fire
The link for the pattern is a Rav. link. You're all on Rav., right? If not, you should be ---- greatest resource EVER for patterns and ideas.
So ---- back to the socks at hand --- the yarn is Arucania Ranco Multy (a discontinued yarn is what I'm hearing) ---- it's a single ply so sometimes it feels like it's going to pull apart. Thankfully, it never does and my Ranco socks from the past have worn pretty well.
It does tend to felt --- wash by hand --- and it runs a little bit ---- so Ranco socks bathe alone.
Other than that --- I love them. The pattern is a little challenging in a fun sort of way and the yarn is just the right color for socks on FIRE!
Now I'm off the the stash to see what pops out next.
